Feed My Starving Children

Janeil and I took our 2 oldest children to a packing event at Feed My Starving Children a couple weeks ago. This place moved me. Deeply. Their staff were each individually amazing.
While we were there we got to see how the process works. They do it all! Every sack of FMSC food is hand made, weighed, and closed for freshness. It then gets packed into boxes which are also put together at the site. Once they are full, they are weighed and put on a pallet. Once the pallets are full they are stored in their wear house ready to be shipped all over the world. If you look at the slide show, there is a picture of all the countries that are served with FMSC food.
This whole process is done by volunteers.
Because of this organization, NWHCM is able to feed 15,000-17,000 servings of food A DAY in the Northwest region of Haiti.
What these people do is going to change the world! One starving child at a time who finds an end to his hunger, who then wants to help the next starving child find the same hope.
What is the difference between Kids against Hunger and Feed the Children? Do you know. Jr and I have bagged several times for Kids against Hunger.

Anna
anna, the food is very similar and I believe even started by the same guy. we have both coming in, but a committed partnership with FMSC.
hope you guys are doing good!
Janeil, I wish I’d known you were coming to Minnesota and I would have made a point to see you and the family! I was at the Coon Rapids FMSC site just 3 weeks ago which is where I assume you were. In any event, I will plan to see you at the partner conference again. It has been such a blessing to me to get to “know” Curtis (lots of e-mails). What a treasure! May God continue to richly bless you, your family and the NWHCM family as well.
